Cooking - Eating - Sharing

Of all the wonderful things there are in the world, food is one of the most pleasureable things to experience.

Think of all the unusual textures, smells and tastes that food provides.  Salty, sweet (my fav), bitter, tender, crispy, the lists could go on and on.  Over the years I have learned so very much about food but also about the people in the industry.  Chefs, food stylists, cookbook authors and food historians.  All great people with a wealth of knowledge that they eagerly share with such a passion that you can only imagine what it is like in their world.  They are the ones who have given me my passion for all things edible.

This is not to say that I do not have some items that I simple do not like but at least I have attempted them before forming an opinion.  Take oysters, not going to happen for me.  It's a texture thing.....we all have our "thing".  But all in all food is the one area where people come together on level ground.  We're there to savor the food but to enjoy the people with who we are eating.  That takes the meal to an entirely new level.  Having friends and family around you seasons the food and makes it just that more tasty.  Don't you agree?

In this blog, Our Table - Your Table, I will share recipes that I have been collecting for many years from various chefs across the world and country.  Almost all of them I have personally made or tried.
